How to check if secure communications are activated and which certificate is in use in Client Management ?

Open BMC Client Management Console, click on the Master device > Agent Configuration > Security node :



Then verify same node on two other devices in order to be sure same parameters are in use.
Devices parameters are identical to Master's settings by default, but this can have been customized.


"Secure Communication" parameter indicates is SSL communications are in use and with which level



"Authority Certificates" parameter indicates which Authority is in use.
"Trusted Authority " parameter indicates which Authority Certificates are trusted.

In case it is needed to change Certificates in BCM, it must be first known which Certificates are currently set.

Default certificates may change according to the BMC Client Management version has first been installed.
Since version 12.0, certificate "bcm" is in use and is unique to each Master.
Before version 12.0 certificates "amp" or "criston" were in place.
